About Sarasvati: The Hindu goddess of the arts, Sarasvati helps us with all creative expressions, such as music, writing, dancing, and eloquent speaking. The wife of Brahma, Sarasvati prizes knowledge and creative expression above material possessions. Her symbols include a white swan, the vina musical instrument, and a book of knowledge. She helps us focus our minds on our creative projects, and not get distracted or procrastinate.
Message From Michelle: Living in the physical world it’s hard not to focus on physical things. Money, houses, clothes, cars, even time. There’s never enough. When we are constantly running on the hamster wheel of materialism, we never have enough. We always want more and what we have isn’t as good as the neighbors or our best friends.
When we think in this manner it projects a state of “lack” into the universe. We never feel fulfilled or happy because we never have enough, or what we have isn’t good enough.
You are limitless. We are only bound by the limits we put on ourselves. Take a break from these limiting beliefs and be creative. When we enjoy the simple things like music and art, it resonates with our soul and connects us to our higher self.
When we are grateful for what we have and tap into our creative side, we discover our passions in life. Focusing on these brings us fulfillment, happiness, and abundance. Focusing and being thankful for the gifts we have and the creative talent that we all posses makes our stay here purposeful.
When we tap into our creative self, it doesn’t necessarily mean we have to paint, draw, or learn an instrument. We all have gifts in all areas. Whether we have a flair for business, helping people,or web design, if we express our talents in any area, we share our gifts with the world.
Allow yourself to be creative. Tap into your talent and skill. Let the music and messages from your soul guide you to a more abundant life.
