Emotional health is the most important aspect of our being. Our emotional state shapes our outer world, determines our happiness, and our state of fulfillment. It can enable us to reach the stars and make our dreams a reality, or destroy our quality of life and keep us a prisoner to misery.
Emotional health, along with our subconscious rules our life. It determines everything that manifests in our physical world. Our thoughts and perception of things creates an emotional response and this radiates in our energy field. Whatever energy we radiate in our aura, acts like a magnet, and we attract what we radiate.
Being in the physical world and bound by our five scenes, we can only perceive as real what we perceive with our scenes. Our perception is influenced by past experience and emotional response. If we have been through any form of trauma (big or small) this creates a pattern of emotional response that will subconsciously be triggered every time we encounter a situation that resembles the original event. This in turn radiates that same energy in our aura, and in turn attracts that same predicament to us again and again.
For instance, if you had a significant loss in your life (in any way), that has affected you in a deep way, it makes an imprint in you’re subconscious programming. If you haven’t processed and healed this event properly and thoroughly, it will continue to affect your outer physical world whether you like it or not. If you have adapted the survival technique and belief of “I will never let anyone close to me and I will never let go of my physical possessions to anyone because if I do, I will be exploited and devastated.” that is a normal response to that trauma. In reality what happens is that this belief causes and emotional response that is emanated in your energy field. This in turn attracts people and situations that will keep you feeling exploited, even creating event after event of victimization.
Another example is abuse and neglect (in any way). When abuse happens as children and especially as pre-verbal children, the messages are imprinted very strongly in our psyche. As children you form your belief system around your survival. You adapt to and accept what you are taught in your environment weather positive or negative. Your sub-conscious creates your belief system around these events and your emotional response to them. As your brain grows and expands, the nero-pathways of the mind develop and every time you have an emotional response to an event, your mind follows the same pathway and you get the same response. This works in your environment as a child, but often not as adults. We carry our survival response around with us and it rules our life. What ever sub-conscious belief we adapted to, we will continue to re-create this, unwillingly drawing it to our-self, creating this emotional response in our physical world.
This is why unresolved and unhealed trauma like sexual abuse, growing up in a neglective environment, physical and emotional abuse tend to repeat itself over and over again. As adults we break free from an unhealthy situation and vow that we will never be with someone like that again, only to find ourselves in the same predicament. Whatever beliefs we formed from an event will affect our physical existence. For instance, if sexually abused, we internalize the feeling of powerlessness. If it was by someone who abused their authority or relationship (such as a parent, relative, or role model) this creates an association of love with exploitation, fear, and loss of power. Our sub-conscious will continually try to work out the trauma in the physical world by creating a belief system of survival. This might be manifested in an eating disorder, Obsessive compulsive disorder, or behaviors that are self-destructive. If unresolved, our mind will continue to rectify the trauma in non productive ways throughout our adult life. Emitting the emotional energy in our aura. Attracting situations that repeat the trauma’s emotional response. If we don’t take this opportunity to heal the wounds, we will get the same result.
When we come to the realization that no matter how much we convince ourselves, shove the skeletons deeper into the closet, or act out to ease the pain, our sub-conscious rules. The more we stuff our stuff down, the more our mind will throw it in our face until we have no choice but to heal ourselves.
NOW IS THE TIME!
The world we live in is changing at a very quick pace. If we don’t keep up, we won’t survive. Bottom line. Energy is shifting, and in turn people’s state of being will have to evolve with it. If not, life will become very uncomfortable, you will manifest illness and you will leave. Plain and simple.
The amazing thing about this process is it’s an opportunity for self-expansion, self-growth, and a chance to heal those things that are standing in our way to a happy, fulfilled, peaceful life. Every time our emotional response is triggered, it’s our higher self giving us an opportunity to heal.
I have seen the changes in attitude, methods, and research in the past twenty years. Being involved in my own sub-conscious healing process for the past twenty years, and now being pro-active in the emotional health of my own children, I see first hand how far we have come. Healing techniques have advanced, there is a greater understanding on trauma and the effects on our mind and how to heal them. The hard-knock methods of the past are being replaced with therapy based on love, understanding, and attachment. Segregation, judgement, and labeling are not tolerated on any level in our schools and workplaces.
Reiki and other energy healing practices play an important roll in this process. I am always so excited to see my clients working on issues that are standing in their way. As we heal, Reiki helps shift our energy and clear out the stagnant thought patterns that we hold in our aura. Clearing and balancing our energy also helps draw out things into our consciousness that we need to heal and let go to bring us to the next level of being. Sometimes during a session you will feel pressure on an area of the body and then a release or shift. Sometimes this is accompanied by and emotional release or a sense of being “lighter”.
Because we hold everything in our etheric layer, if we don’t “cleanse” ourself of these energies, they manifest in illness. This is created by the lack of flow of life energy to that area of the body. If our energy doesn’t flow freely, the organs that are in this area suffer and get sick.
Reiki therapy works hand in hand with every type of traditional treatment. It compliments every form of healing, on every level. When we make the conscious decision and commitment to ourself to heal emotionally, reiki realigns your whole system on the physical, spiritual, and mental plains. As we shift our mind, it helps align everything else with it. If we heal a physical wound, it clears the trauma from our aura and heals our body faster. As we heal emotional wounds, it aligns our etheric self and we attract new things on every level in accordance to our new mental and emotional state.
Here is an article featuring case studies on the effect reiki has on your mental\emotional\physical state.
This is such an exciting time and I can hardly contain my joy when I see more and more people on the road to healing themselves and living the life they are meant to live. I am so blessed and privileged to be a conduit of this healing energy and have an active part in helping people embrace their true self.
We have the gift of free will. Lets use it to make choices to heal ourselves and the world around us. Every step we take, big or small, has a ripple effect on those around us. Be the change you want to see in the world. It starts with you.
