My secret? I’m doing it my way. lol! I used to be very fit and excersise all the time. I used to eat healthy all the time, and I knew what supplements to take to get me there. So this time I’m educated and know my body and how it responds to things I ingest, and how I work out.
First of all, I began gradually cutting out processed foods, sugars, and extra fat. I love chips so I buy organic, half the fat snacks that are all natural. I only eat the recommended serving size or if I have extra room on my caloric intake for the day, I have more. I don’t eat white sugar. I use stevia instead.
I eat organic when possible. Cereal, produce, snacks, bread. I still eat meat, but not as much as I used to. I chose fish, or vegetarian substitutes. Lots of veggies, beans, fruit. I’m trying to follow a whole food diet plan. That’s the thing. I’m not following a pre-made meal plan, or fad diet. I’m not scrimping on calories either.
I’m following a common sense diet. Fiber and protein take longer to break down. I make sure I eat both for breakfast. If I’m on the run, I drink a protein shake, or a fiber shake. Both bought at the Pure Nature store.
I eat basically all day. lol The more small healthy meals you eat, the higher your metabolism runs. I count my calories on an AP called Lose It. It works. I’ll punch in the food I eat every day and excersise, and it keeps track of my goals.
Because I ate a mostly healthy diet before, and was stuck at the same over-weight place for a long time, I got some help. I receive Zerona treatments three times a week. I’ve had two sessions and I already notice a difference. This is so big for me since I’ve been eating healthy for a while and have not lost weight at all. This is the boost I need.
The Zerona has given me the incentive to keep a commitment to myself and my physical body. During these treatments, I have to drink half my body weight in water every day. Because I’m on BP meds, I don’t have to drink that much, but I sip on water all day consuming around 1600 oz of water a day. I’m not allowed alcohol, or anything that stresses the liver since the fat zapped in my treatment is flushed out by my lymphatic system. I’m also not allowed to weight train, but I can do cardio (light) so I power walk on the treadmill at the gym every day.
I put lemon and lime in my water. This builds immunity, and balances the pH of my system along with cleansing. I take added dandelion root supplements, and relax with a detox tea every day.
Because of my high blood pressure, I cannot take any work out enhancing or weight loss supplements, but I do take Lipozen. This helps me feel full and get used to my healthy portion control. It has B12 and other supplements in it that are beneficial to your body.
I take added vitamin D all year, but amp it up in the winter to help with my seasonal depression.
At first (three weeks ago) I was tired, but now I have energy. I feel “clear” and not sluggish. I re-visited the gym. I forgot all the inspiration I get while I’m on the treadmill. Walking and being in motion power kicks my energy flow and I balance and cleanse my chakras and aura during my work out. I do tons of positive affirmation and manifestation work. Often I get at least one Ah-ha moment on the treadmill. Yesterday, I had a past life experience that put another piece of my life puzzle together.
This is my time. I’ve been preparing for it bit by bit for the past two months. Change is not easy and to just jump into a drastic life change is unrealistic. I’ve tried it and failed.
There is no secret to healthy living. It’s about education. Take time to learn about what you put in your body and what it does. Cutting out processed food and chemicals is an easy step that will get you results without even going on a strict diet plan. Lower your alcohol consumption, and add a bit of excersise.
Tell yourself positive affirmations and compliment yourself all the time. When you love yourself where you are at at this moment, it draws more of that love back to you. Tell yourself that you are healthy and fit. Tell yourself that your body metabolizes food perfectly.
“I AM” statements are very powerful. You will see greater results when you add positive self-talk to your daily routine and excersise.
Reiki is also a powerful tool in cleansing and losing weight. Reiki cleanses out the old and makes room for new thinking and habits. It speeds up toxin release and balances your energy centers, bringing you back in alignment with your higher intent.
I picked one thing a day for a month…not even. Time goes by and before you know it those baby steps turned into a new life right before your eyes.
Get support and use modern science. It’s there for a reason. Take supplements, vitamins, and teas for balance, health and detox. Organic food may cost more, but you’ll find you’ll eat less and be more full.
You can do it if I can. Let’s face it, we’re all in the same boat. Make one small change per day and see what happens.
I believe in my ability to truly love myself for who I am.
I accept my body shape and acknowledge the beauty it holds.
I am the creator of my future and driver of my mind.
I let go of unhelpful patterns of behavior around food.
I allow myself to make choices and decisions for my higher good.
I bring the qualities of fulfillment, happiness and contentment into my life as I am now.
I let go of any guilt I hold around food choices.
I accept my body for the shape I have been blessed with.
I let go of relationships that are no longer for my higher good.
I believe in myself and acknowledge my greatness.
I allow myself to feel good being me.
I accept myself for who I am.
I bring the qualities of love into my heart.
I am grateful for the body I own and all it does for me.
