Tomorrow night is yet another Full moon! This one is known as the “mini-moon”. If you follow the moon cycles like I do and incorporate your goals and personal growth to co-inside with these powerful energies, you are probably ready to let go of some less than productive things and behaviors in your life. When I began to rid myself of chemically ridden snacks and foods last month, I realized how addicted I was to certain foods and snacks. I never realized it before that moment. Another example is worry. Many people make the decision to not worry, but when it comes down to it, it’s not that easy to do.
When you begin to practice a new way of “anything”, you will have issues surface, belief systems will be challenged, and your sub-conscious will go into a “I don’t like this, it’s uncomfortable!” mode. This is why many people find it too hard to change things in their life. When they get down to the nitty gritty of it, it’s just too hard. Or is it?
Personal growth is a process of attaining the new, and discarding the old. In order to evolve, this needs to happen. If you like being comfortable and stuck, but complain about it, I don’t want to hear it. Change in any way takes effort, work and action on our part, and patience and self-love.
The full moon is the perfect time to release some of the issues that have surfaced in the past tow weeks that need purging from your life. We need to stick to our guns and wade through the muck. If you are experiencing health problems from worry and stress and during your journey have found out that this is a method of behavior you picked up from a parent in childhood, it’s time to give that back. It’s not you, and there are constructive ways to deal with uncertainty.
If you have realized through dieting that you look to food for comfort because when you were teased you ran to food, it’s time to let go of that belief.
Our belief system creates our reality in the physical world and we have the power to change anything. When we feel uncomfortable, anxious, tired, and want to give up. Don’t!! This means your changing. Your sub-conscious is re-wiring and is uncomfortable. It takes at least a month for a new “anything” to begin to be a habit. Keep going.
This full moon let go of anything that has surfaced that is not contributing to your highest and greatest good. Write it down. Ask your guides for help and strength. Meditate on giving these useless things back to the universe. Visualize new productive habits and ways of doing things.
If it’s a business idea you want to move forward and fear is holding you back, write that down. Imagine how your goals would flourish without fear. We all feel fear, it’s what you despite it. Go through the fear and keep going. It’s a natural pull of the universe and everyone feels it. Push through anyway. Grit your teeth and stay sober. quit smoking, stop reacting with anger…and the list goes on.
You can do it!!!

Excerpt on this full moon from Cafe Astrology:
This moon appeared when wolves howled outside villages vocalizing their hunger. It’s also known as Old Moon or Moon After Yule.
This Full Moon is about balancing our commitment to our career and families. Something has been building inside of us, and now is the time when the energy of the cosmos fairly demands that we let it out. Over the next two weeks, we will discover what this means for us. For now, we can’t sit on our feelings. We need to express them.
The Full Moon is a time of culmination and the promise of fulfillment of that which was started at the New Moon. It is an emotional time–a time of romance, fertilization, and relationships. This Full Moon occurs when Venus squares Mars, and passions run high as we make emotional discoveries.
