This year (unless you are me and are constantly changing) has been packed full of hard reality checks, difficult change, and transitions. It’s scary, and even though we might know that the outcome of our change will be way better than what we are living or doing right now, fear kicks in and slows us down, or even sabotages our evolution.
Bottom line is we chose to give in to fear. ” I’m not strong enough. What will I do without my big house? (divorce) I don’t want to relive that traumatic event AGAIN! This is so uncomfortable. What will people say?” Only a minuscule of what runs through our heads when fear kicks in during a transition or a spiritual lesson.
Here is a simple spellritual you can do to make a conscious decision to release your fear. This doesn’t mean that it will be magically gone, it means that you have made universal energy your partner and Ali. You will begin to let go or attract things, people, information, and situations into your life to help you accomplish your goal. Remember that often times we think is best for us, or the best way to do things, might not be in our greatest good. So always listen for the nudges and messages that will be sent your way after doing any type of energy work or spell work.
Tools: a knife, large pin, pen or a carving tool
Candles: Black & Blue candle
To begin, cast your circle and create a protected and grounded workplace. This spell works best if you are facing the west, so arrange your candles and tools so they are in front of you when you are facing west.
Cast this spell during the waning or dark phase of the moon. In this phase the moon is decreasing, just as we want our fear to decrease and release during this time. You can also get technical and cast your spell on a Sunday, Saturday, or Friday. I always do my ritual as needed, when I need it, and don’t have time to wait around. The choice is yours.You can add gemstones, incense and music to enhance the energy in your spell. Make sure you have no distractions, do a cleansing bath or shower before you begin, and ask your guides and higher power to guide you and allow the information to flow through you at this time.
Affirmations to be read after you open your circle, but before your spell:
Today I am choosing tranquility instead of fear. I am capable of controlling my feelings of fear and will choose to. I choose relaxation and well-being. Situations, people, things, places, animals do not make me fearful. I will keep going even though I feel the emotion of fear and I will be OK.
Take your black candle and carve the word of the fear you are releasing. Black is for banishing. Take your blue candle and write a word that is healing to you. Blue is for healing. Light your candles. As it burns say the following:
The candle burns, so does my fear,
To the divine I ask you hear,
Protect me from this constant dread,
This spell is done and all is said!
Conclude with thanks to your guides, angels, and higher power you invited into your space, and close your circle. You can extinguish your candles or let them burn right down.
